Lollypop Creek Community Centre

Named after the nearby Lollypop Creek, this new purpose-built community hub serves the rapidly growing suburbs within the City of Wyndham, supporting early learning, health services, and community programs.

The centre’s siting was carefully considered to integrate with the surrounding urban fabric. Positioned on a prominent corner opposite a new shopping precinct and a future wetlands park, as well as adjacent to Lollypop Creek Primary School, the design responds to existing pedestrian networks and pathways, ensuring seamless connectivity between the school, community facilities, and retail spaces.

The early learning facilities include three kindergarten rooms, each accommodating 33 children, with direct connections to covered verandahs and outdoor play spaces, fostering seamless indoor-outdoor learning experiences.

Beyond early education, the centre offers a range of community-focused amenities, including allied health consulting rooms, two large multi-purpose community rooms, a community kitchen, meeting rooms, and ancillary facilities for both staff and visitors. The community rooms are designed to support a variety of uses and have direct access to separate fenced outdoor gathering areas, providing flexibility for different events and programs.

By integrating with its surrounding context, the Lollypop Creek Community Centre strengthens local education, wellbeing, and social connections, making it a vital resource for the growing community.
