Bop Bop Karrong Barwon Heads
Early Learning Centre

Bop Bop Karrong Barwon Heads Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built 66-place preschool embedded within its coastal community. Surrounded by local sporting facilities and open space, it features a large, light-filled community room that opens outwards, encouraging activities such as playgroups and deeper community engagement. Warm timbers and native planting create a light, airy environment grounded in place.

Aiming for 5-Star Green Star equivalence, sustainability measures were made visible for educational impact, including solar panels and rainwater tanks. Nature play elements of water play, digging patches, veggie beds, and an outdoor classroom encourages learning through adventure, connecting children to the natural world in a ‘bush kinder’ environment.
