Lagoon Reserve Sports Field
and Sports Pavilion

The Lagoon Reserve upgrade delivers major improvements to access, safety, and facilities for Port Melbourne’s community and sporting groups. The redevelopment includes a new sports pavilion, cricket nets, reconstructed sports field with upgraded lighting, accessible public toilets, BBQ and picnic areas, and revitalised pathways.

Delivered in two stages, Stage 1 includes the reconstruction of the sports field, new cricket nets, lighting upgrades, and path connections. Stage 2 includes construction of the new two storey modular sports pavilion and upgrades to the BBQ/picnic area, landscaping, and path lighting.

The pavilion features change rooms, referee’s room, a first aid room, kitchen, multipurpose community space, and accessible amenities, providing Lagoon Reserve with a modern hub that supports local sports and broader community use.
