Middle Park House

Situated along the beachfront, the Middle Park House is a three-storey family home that balances modern coastal living with refined, artisanal detailing. The design honours the site’s heritage through the thoughtful reuse of original stained-glass windows, which were carefully integrated into an otherwise contemporary new build.

Externally, the home is defined by its robust materiality—off-form concrete panels are paired with charred timber cladding to create a striking façade. Internally, the palette is restrained and elegant, featuring hard plaster walls, marble-lined bathrooms, and a mix of hardwood and tiled flooring throughout.

The home is arranged vertically to make the most of its compact beachfront footprint. The ground floor includes guest bedrooms, a private study, rumpus and wine room, which opens onto a secluded courtyard and pool. The first floor accommodates the main kitchen, dining, and living zones, designed for entertaining and framed by expansive views. The second floor houses the family’s primary bedrooms and private retreat spaces overlooking the best of the beachfront views.

Artisanal craftsmanship defines every detail—from a hand-paved pool and curved spiral staircase to carefully selected stone and custom joinery. The result is a highly considered, enduring residence that captures the essence of both family life and seaside elegance.
