Warrnambool Pavilion

Perched on the iconic Warrnambool Breakwater, the Pavilion transforms an underutilised site into a dynamic coastal gathering place. Replacing outdated yacht club facilities, the two-level building embraces its exposed setting with robust timber elements and an artificially formed dune that anchors it within the coastal landscape.

The Pavilion accommodates a restaurant, community meeting rooms, visitor information facilities, and change amenities, alongside observation and radio rooms for the Coast Guard. It also houses the Warrnambool Yacht Club and Offshore Light Game Fishing Club.

Designed to frame sweeping ocean views while sheltering from prevailing winds, the Pavilion celebrates maritime history and strengthens community connections along Warrnambool’s vibrant foreshore.
